For the last 5 weeks we have been reading the Wishtree novel. It was a really good book. It is was about a new family that moved in to the Wish tree neighbourhood and they were Muslims. The main character was Samar (she is part of the Muslim family). Samar could not make any friends so she put a wish on the tree. Red, the wish tree decided he needed to help.
