Shantytown

Shantytown came to school to see people from Grey Main School. We learnt how to barter/trading.

Reading

Some more infer and support to read and help use under stand the story better and get more evidence.

For reading we are learning to infer so we know more we were finding clues to find out what happened I found it in the middle hard My infer and support activity.

In Mr Zuckerman’s barn a MIRACLE HAS HAPPENED

At Mr Zuckerman’s barn, on the outskirts of Canada, a web has been transformed into a miracle. Lurvy tell us what happened?”

Lurvy: “Well it was a frosty morning at the barn. Wilbur was hungry and something caught Luvry eye. SOME PIG was written in Charlotte's web… then Mr Zuckerman came out to see what all the ruckus was about now People from all over the world have come to see Wilbur.”

Reporter: “People say a miracle has happened in the barn. People from America, New Zealand, England and China have been going to the barn.

At six a.m. a web has turn into a miracle a little pig called Wilbur. Not an ordinary pig he is a special pig. Lurvey was the person who discovered the miracle and Mr (Homer) Zuckerman told a lawyer about the miracle and it turn world wide. What will happen next? Over 1,000 people have visited, Wilbur when people get bored he does a backflip. A runt he was Mr arable was going to chop his head off! But he didn't

Week 4 T2 reflection

 Numeracy

 For maths we have  learning to round numbers e.g 30x5 you make the 5 a 4 30x4=120 then you add 1 it equals 150 and that's rounding numbers.   

                                                                      Literacy

This week we are writing a news paper article for writing. We are using the section from Charlotte's web about Some Pig.

Reading    

For reading we are doing Infer and supporting it means reading pictures and helping others.

Literacy

WALT: to describe your favourite character. I learnt something about Wilbur. You can read it your self then you will know why I put Wilbur is not an ordinary pig.

Banqer

This is what I have been up to on Banqer. Have a look at it and you will be able to read what other people and the teachers have paid me for. 

Numeracy

Sorry its blurry hopefully you can read it. This is numeracy. WALT: multiply and divide using doubling and having. I found some of it easy and some hard.

Week 2 T2 reflection

For literacy this week we have been learning about spiders. We had to write 3 paragraphs about spiders we used bubbl.us to brain storm about spiders.

As part of our Anzac topic we created an Anzac activity that involves making a drawing of an Anzac map. We copied it off an online map that we researched. 

We have been learning about time. I put lots of time into this slide I hope you enjoy.

Week 1 T2 reflection

This is my Charlotte's web  work I  was learning similes,metaphors and personification it was quite hard.

This is my Anzac activity it was about mascots and how they got from war some animal's had disease's and how they got home.

This is is a web site banqer we use it to buy stuff in class like movies,to sit on seats,etc.                                                                                                              

Week 9 reflection

This week I was working on the coming storm I had to write  seven 
slides it was hard.

I had to do a true false challenge about unicycles it was a bit tricky to make because I do not know much about unicycles.























For this activity I had to do more doubling and halving like  last week.
